It also lives at the junction point of the Talas Alatau and the Karatau mountains. Its range also includes Africa, Europe and Asia. There is no information about the total population size of this species, nor have the basic limiting factors been studied. Most likely, air pollution and the intensified use of herbicides have negatively affected this bat. This is a rather large exotic bat with short velvet fur. Its tail bends upward which is different from other species of bats. It is necessary to educate people about the importance of protecting this species and to expedite the creation of the Karatau Reserve.|
